"Sweetheart"

I lucked up on another amazing vintage dress a couple of weeks ago. It was definitely love at first sight when I seen this vintage sweetheart A-line dress.
One of my readers has a vintage clothing store here in Five Points called Recycled Couture and she always has some great pieces. Check out a couple other dresses I have found at her store here and here
I paired them with my Jeffery Campbell Cheetah print Foxy platforms and a vintage clutch that I found at a consignment store years ago.
I love the back of this dress. It came with two pink detachable bows, that I will wear next time.

"Spring/Summer Trend: Floral Print"

I have to be honest and say that I have never been a big fan of floral print on myself, but I adore the pattern when I see it on others. Floral print is a popular trend that is continuing into the summer.
Here are some adorable floral print pieces that I found recently that really caught my eye.
I love the cut of the back of this blouse
Great combination of floral and stripes.
This peplum dress in adorable! I convinced my roommate to buy it for a garden tea party bridal shower she had to attend last weekend and it was perfect!
These shorts are a perfect length for me. They can be paired with a solid blazer and platforms,  or a different floral pattern top, the options are endless.
As you know I LOVE Jeffery Campbell shoes. They speak for themselves....

The combination of the high-low and floral pattern is perfect.
So what do you think? Are you feeling the floral trend? Click on the links below to purchase the items I listed above.

"Vintage Sunday"

I LOVE vintage and the fashion Gods have blessed me with some amazing finds. (My favorite is the one I wore  here). I found this dress about a year ago at my favorite consignment shop and decided to wear it to church this past Sunday.
I kept the accessories simple and vintage theme going by adding my favorite gold belt.
This is my second time wearing the dress. The first time I wore it was to my best friend Lisa's wedding last May. She had a beautiful midday garden wedding so it was perfect.
Lisa is one of my dearest friends who I love dearly. Both she and her husband graduated from University of Tennessee a couple of weeks ago with a doctorate in Speech Pathology....unbelievable! Super proud of you hun!

"Knuckle Up"

It was a pretty low key yet busy weekend for me. I found this funky belt at my favorite consignment store about 3 weeks ago.
I kept it simple and paired it with my favorite Gap boyfriend jeans, white T, and my "Jesus sandals"..LOL
I have been wanting to try the ombre' look for awhile, but was nervous because I have NEVER worn color before. I am a true aries,  so change is VERY hard for me, but I did it, and love it!!!

"Black and Neon"

Sunday's weather was the pits! It rained all day and was so gloomy. I went to dinner with my BFF and snapped a couple of pictures of  what I wore.
It decided to start raining again as soon as I pulled out my tripod, so I was only able to snap a couple of pictures (sorry about the quality). I found this adorable purse at Forever 21 over the weekend. I love it because it matches my sandals perfectly.

"Loud Leggings"

I hope you all had a great Mother's Day weekend. I rested and did paperwork all weekend because of the overcast and rainy weather. On Saturday when the sun finally came out I decided to take advantage by peeling myself out of the bed to go and run some errands.
There is nothing more comfortable and easy to dress up than leggings. I ran across these online and fell in love.
I also took advantage of the cooler weather by pulling out my turquoise Litas that I first wore here,
Leggings are my go to casual outfit, what is yours?

"Puff Sleeves"

My best friend/ BFF/fellow blogger bestie Eureka aka Qrush Velvet snapped these pictures of  me when we were in Houston , and I totally forgot that I had them.=o/ This beautiful area was across the street from the hotel we stayed in.
I found these sandals on the clearance rack last winter at a boutique. The camera really didn't capture how pretty the rhinestones are. I call them my "Cinderellas".
We are half way through the week ladies...hang in there!

"Tribal Print"

I love prints and bright colors, so it goes without saying that I love the tribal print trend that is continuing from last summer.
It has been really hot here the past couple of weeks, so I was able to wear this tribal print high low dress that I found at Buffalo Exchange when I was in Houston.
I am not a big fan of the color yellow, but I love the print, cut, and fit of this dress.
I bought these super high wedges from Bebe about three summers ago. As I promised I am still working hard to "closet shop" and wear items in my closet that have just been sitting.
What do you ladies think? Are you feeling the tribal print pattern that's trending?

"Pink Shorts"

I have to admit that I am a work in progress when it comes to accepting my genetically predespositon big legs. They run on both sides of my family, so despite the fact that I have lost 38lbs and a I spin three to four times a week, my legs are here to stay.
There used to be a time where I wouldn't dare wear shorts, mini skirts, or anything that came above my knee, but I am proud to say that I am over that period.
I went closet shopping and found these shorts unworn with the tags still attached(SMH) and figured I better try and get some wear out of them since they were already way to big in the waist area. I am  15 pounds from my goal, so I am going to go ahead and claim that I will not be able to wear these by the end of the summer;0).

"Neon Skater"

I bought my first skater dress and decided to wear it this weekend. It was on sale for super cheap on ASOS so I decided to go ahead and get it even though I wasn't to sure about the tulip bottom. I love the colors and color block however I am not feeling the fit of this particular dress. I honestly feel like it adds volume to an area of my body that absolutely needs NO extra volume...LOL.
Nevertheless I was pleased with the accessories I chose and how I put it together so I decided to go ahead and post the pictures. =0/. My second pair of Badacious earrings matched perfectly.
I love dresses but I think I am going to stick to  my regular peplum, bodycon, or maxi dress style. I  am going to add this beautiful one to the "Shop Fancy Curves Closet" to sale.
