I really can't believe that tomorrow is the first of August, I feel like I blinked and July was gone. It is about to get really crazy busy for me with school starting here in Georgia between August 7-12, I will be extremely busy working with tons of new referrals coming in. I feel like I already have no free time..*sigh*. Oh well....hustle hard right? My favorite OOTD for this month was definitely the paisley print culotte outfit that I wore to the Beyonce' concert . You can see the post HERE.

"Bright"
Yellow is definitely not my color, but unfortunately my camera wanted to turn my shirt and purse that are actually lime green to this bright yellow. I am in LOVE with this purse that I recently purchased from Asos, it adds the perfect pop of color to everything.
I paired this shirt with a pair of silk like harem pants, my London Trash leopard platforms ( yes I broke down and bought another pair....LOL) and a pair of awesome earrings from Badacious.

I love these earrings, but unfortunately after about two hours they start to hurt something terrible. I am not sure if it is this particular style, because I own two other pair of their earrings and I have no problems. You can see the other ones I have worn HERE and HERE.

"Shoes on Shoes"
Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was low key as usual. I did some thrifting, worked, and went to a house party on Saturday. I am slowly trying to clean my closet out so I can start listing items on the "Shop my Closet" tab and on my Instagram. I have so many awesome pieces that I have either never wore, wore only once, or found while out "treasure hunting." I tell you I run across so many gems while thrifting that aren't even my size that I feel would be a real sin to leave sitting on the rack. These shoes are a perfect example of what I am talking about, I purchased them months ago, forgot about them and stumbled across them while I was searching for something else....**sigh**
I paired them with a coral and denim mix sleeveless blouse, boyfriend jeans and a clutch that yes, I found in my closet as well that I have never carried....again...**sigh**
Question: Am I the only one who feels like Instagram makes me shop more??? I am so bombarded with images of in my newsfeed of outfits of the day/night, cute shoes, dresses, accessories, hair styles, etc. With just one click of the "@" you are swiftly taken to the website or source where you can at one click of a button have whatever it is you seen at your front door...ugh, it's the worst...LOL.

"Mrs. Carter"
This past Saturday the day finally arrived where I was able to truly experience the "Mrs. Carter" tour. I did see her at The Essence Festival a couple of weeks ago, but Saturday was a completely different experience. My seat that I went through hell and high water to get months ago were amazing! The Atlanta crowd had a completely different energy, her energy was different, even mine was different. The show nothing short of amazing. I am a HUGE Beyonce' fan, but I can unbiasely say that she is really walking in her destiny. She is definitely supposed to be on that stage doing what she is doing.Check out some of the pictures I captured below.
I found this amazing, comfortable paisley print two piece set at the thrift store the day of the concert for $4! I planned on wearing something totally different, but once I tried it on, I fell in love with the fit and how unbelievably comfortable it was. I wish I would've gotten a more detailed picture, but as always I was in a rush.
Here is a close up of the accessories I wore to jazz up my outfit. I found this amazing necklace at a vintage store when I was in New Orleans. It is hard to see, but it is a Nefertiti head in the middle of a snake.
Have any of you guys seen the show yet? What did you think?

"Trilla"
I hope you all had a fabulous weekend because it went by entirely too fast for me. I caught up on some work Friday and Sunday, but on Saturday I did go see Mrs.Carter. Her show was nothing short of amazing, and I can't wait to share pictures, videos and my OOTN with you all later this week. Anyways I ran across this comic shirt while online a couple of months ago, and immediately fell in LOVE!
I paired it with some cut off shorts, my new favorite "Trilla Gorilla" Melody Eshani gold chain and my lime green Chuck Taylor sneaks, which I recently scored from one of my favorite consignment shops.
I swear I am still on love with my Senegalese twists. The convenience of not having to a John Brown thing except wash it and and oil it daily the past month has been beyond amazing. They do get annoying because they are so long, but my girl Qrush Velvet hooked me up with this cool french braid as a way of keeping them out of my way.
Happy Monday dolls! xoxo

"Imperial"
I don't know about you guys but I am struggling to get over this hump! This past weekend I flew to New Orleans to hang with my BFF's for the Essence Music Festival. I had a great time just hanging with my girls and watching all the amazing performances. My next few OOTD post will be from what I wore over the weekend. My girl Sheila captured these pictures of me while we were on our way to the convention center. To be completely honest I was so not feeling wearing this maxi dress. Although this is my first time photographing it, I wear it all the time...ugh! I have accessorized it so many ways and just wasn't feeling the accessories I had brought to go with it, but then my beautiful, fashion forward friend Eureka from Qrush Velvet took a necklace she brought and pinned it on my braids to create this amazzzzing head piece. I instantly fell in LOVE!!! Gosh I love having stylish friends....LOL.
This has to be one of the best maxi dresses I have ever found. I bought it last summer from Urban Outfitters. It is so comfortable and flowy. I absolutely love the length and double slits on the sides.
Happy Hump Day! xoxo

"Fancy Friday- The "Overall" Effect"
One thing for certain about fashion and trends is that they definitely repeat themselves, and this can definitely be said about the latest overall trend. I LOVED wearing overalls and can remember saving my pennies when I was in high school and splurging on a Tommy Hilfiger pair...LOL. Currently I am a jumpsuit girl, but totally love the rebirth of overalls and how they can be styled. I have yet to find a pair that is flattering on me, but when I do, you will most certainly see them on an OOTD post. Below are some images I found that inspire me, or are identical to what I had in mind in regards to how I would style mine.
I love all these looks but my favorite is probably the oxblood leather overalls and statement necklace worn by Russian Vogue Magazine editor Miroslava Dama, and the double denim look with the over-sized cat eye glasses. What look do you like the best? Are you feeling the overall trend?

"Fancy June Review"
Oh my goodness, I really can not believe it is July, and that we are already half way through 2013. I don't know about you, but I am NOT a fan of summer. The heat, humidity, sun, sweat, inability to maintain a hairstyle....sheesh, I will pass. I am anxiously awaiting fall which by far is my favorite season. I am especially excited for this fall because I will be checking off one of the things on my "bucket list"by going to South Africa for 12 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can NOT wait, and I am really excited to share my experience with you guys. Anyways, here is a summary of my June OOTD posts. It is hard for me to pick which was my favorite, but if I had to choose I think I would go with the Rottweiler T-Shirt dress post I did HERE.
