"NYC"

Here are the rest of my NYC trip pictures that I want to share with you. Sorry for the delay, but it has been an extremely hectic week since returning. I captured this shot of Lady Liberty when my friends and I went to Staten Island on a ferry ride.
While walking to catch the ferry I decided to put my brave girl panties on and have an one on one moment with this Boa....you only live once right???.....LOL

Dinner in Little Italy was awesome; the ambiance, food, weather...everything was perfect! The Lobster Ravioli (bottom) and Watermelon Martinis was the best I ever tasted.

We had a chance to visit the 911 memorial site, which was absolutely beautiful. It was so surreal to be back at the site where the attack took place. Although there are hundreds of people touring the site when you stand near the waterfalls it was so quite and peaceful. It is as if all the background noise silences. The "survivor tree" was the ONLY tree that was standing after the attack. I thought that this was pretty amazing.

As much as I like LOVE to shop, I did very little on this trip **gasp** ...LOL. I picked up a couple of cute pieces here and in Soho, but that was it. I am just one of those people who have to be in the mood to shop, and for some reason I just wasn't this trip.

Ok seriously how dope is my besties frohawk?? When it comes to natural hair she is the messiah..hands down! You can check out her personal style and hair blog at Qrush Velvet.com

xoxo

    1. Thanks Robin. I actually just started wearing my scarves like this. I wanted to step outside my comfort zone. I am glad I did because I love it!
