"Break the Rules"

The first rule of fashion is there are no rules and the second rule is to break the ones that do exist. With that being said I wore white jeans six days after Labor Day in honor of the "no white after Labor Day" rule.

There are limitless ways to wear white all season long. On yesterday I keep it simple by pairing it with a chambray shirt, my Jeffery Campbell Lanas and some serious neck candy. I am really getting my Mr. T on......LOL. A great way to wear white in the fall or winter is to incorporate a warm or neutral hues. I did so by adding my burgundy clutch.

So what's your position on the "no white after Labor Day" rule? Breaking it, or sticking to it?

  1. I don't abide by that rule...matter of fact I wore a white dress yesterday to church.

  2. Very cute! Love the fit of those pants too!

I hadn't even realized that this was still a rule until I read my fellow bloggers posts about it. I've been breaking this "rule" for a while now. I'm ok with it, and will continue to do it.
