"Cray"

Hi guys!!!!! It's been forever since I posted I know, but life for me right now is going the speed of a Japanese Bullet Train, and I am just holding on for dear life. Anywhoo, not gonna bore you with the details of my forever hectic life but, instead lets move forward and discuss my outfit........
I thrifted this organza like material A-line skirt many moons ago and decided to pair it with a Forever 21  crop top, my "All Chains" Jefferey Campbells, and gold accessories. I LOVE this skirt! The picture doesn't really capture the beauty of the rich emerald green color.

I honestly forgot that I had these babies in my shoe repertoire'. I bought them for my birthday in March and  I first wore them HERE. Unfortunately I haven't worn them since...*sigh*

Happy Monday!... P.S I am South Africa bound in 12 days.....can you say EXCITED!!!

"Love"

Hey ladies, I hope you all had a fantastic weekend, and that it didn't go by as fast for you as it did for me. It seems like I blinked and it was gone. On Sunday I went  to church and brunch with a couple of my friends and I was able to wear this cute "Love" skater dress that I purchased from Forever 21, and my new Adidas.
*Sigh* Can we have a moment of silence for my new sneaks??? I am without a doubt over wedge sneakers, but I have a love affair with Adidas high tops. I ran across these online and  immediately fell in love.

I keep my accessories simple with gold studs my "Trilla Gorilla" chain, gold rings, and a black Coach purse that I thrifted awhile back.
I hope everyone has a great week. Mine will be busy and short because on Thursday I leave to go to Jamaica for five days.....**virtual cartwheel**

"Bright"

Yellow is definitely not my color, but unfortunately my camera wanted to turn my shirt and purse that are actually lime green to this bright yellow. I am in LOVE with this purse that I recently purchased from Asos, it adds the perfect pop of color to everything.
I paired this shirt with a pair of silk like harem pants, my London Trash leopard platforms ( yes I broke down and bought another pair....LOL) and a pair of awesome earrings from Badacious.
I love these earrings, but unfortunately after about two hours they start to hurt something terrible. I am not sure if it is this particular style, because I own two other pair of their earrings and I have no problems. You can see the other ones I have worn HERE and HERE.

"Mrs. Carter"

This past Saturday the day finally arrived where I was able to truly experience the "Mrs. Carter" tour.  I did see her at The Essence Festival a couple of weeks ago, but Saturday was a completely different experience. My seat that I went through hell and high water to get months ago were amazing! The Atlanta crowd had a completely different energy, her energy was different, even mine was different. The show nothing short of amazing. I am a HUGE Beyonce' fan, but I can unbiasely say that she is really walking in her destiny. She is definitely supposed to be on that stage doing what she is doing.Check out some of the pictures I captured below.
I found this amazing, comfortable paisley print two piece set at the thrift store the day of the concert for $4! I planned on wearing something totally different, but once I tried it on, I fell in love with the fit and how unbelievably comfortable it was. I wish I would've gotten a more detailed picture, but as always I was in a rush.
Here is a close up of the accessories I wore to jazz up my outfit. I found this amazing necklace at a vintage store when I was in New Orleans. It is hard to see, but it is a Nefertiti head in the middle of a snake.
Have any of you guys seen the show yet? What did you think?

"Trilla"

I hope you all had a fabulous weekend because it went by entirely too fast for me. I caught up on some work Friday and Sunday, but on Saturday I did go see Mrs.Carter. Her show was nothing short of amazing, and I can't wait to share pictures, videos and my OOTN with you all later this week. Anyways I ran across this comic shirt while online a couple of months ago, and immediately fell in LOVE!

I paired it with some cut off shorts, my new favorite "Trilla Gorilla" Melody Eshani gold chain and my lime green Chuck Taylor sneaks, which I recently scored from one of my favorite consignment shops.
I swear I am still on love with my Senegalese twists. The convenience of not having to a John Brown thing except wash it and and oil it daily  the past month has been beyond amazing. They do get annoying because they are so long, but my girl Qrush Velvet hooked me up with this cool french braid as a way of keeping them out of my way.
Happy Monday dolls! xoxo

"Fancy June Review"

Oh my goodness, I really can not believe it is July, and that we are already half way through 2013. I don't know about you, but I am NOT a fan of summer. The heat, humidity, sun, sweat, inability to maintain a hairstyle....sheesh, I will pass. I am anxiously awaiting fall which by far is my favorite season. I am especially excited for this fall because I will be checking off one of the things on my "bucket list"by going to South Africa for 12 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can NOT wait, and I am really excited to share my experience with you guys. Anyways, here is a summary of my June OOTD posts. It is hard for me to pick which was my favorite, but if I had to choose I think I would go with the Rottweiler T-Shirt dress post I did HERE.
What was your favorite look?

"Rottweiler"

I live for eclectic, funky, different pieces; I think that is probably why I am so addicted to vintage clothing and accessories.I love trends, but lately have tried to make it habit to fall back from "trendy" pieces. Anyways I was browsing online and ran across this T-shirt Rottweiler print dress on River Island and immediately fell in LOVE!
I kept it simple and comfortable by pairing it with my Steve Madden high top sneaks, and my new favorite gorilla chain from Melody Eshani. If you have been following me for awhile you already know that I think she is such a dope jewlery designer. I am truly and fan, and own several of her pieces that seem to coordinate with my wardrobe perfectly
How adorable is this little guy I ran into while I was in Five Points???Matching red sneaks, gold chains....I had to take a picture with him
Happy Thursday! xoxo

"Graphic Tank and Jeans"

Hey loves. I hope you all had a great weekend, mine definitely went by way too fast. On Thursday I went to a trunk show for Suakoke Betty. She is a local designer here who makes some beautiful mixed print fashion apparel. The show was hosted by Eboni from The Fashionista Next Door, and Trina from The Baby Shopaholic. Doing anything during the week is a real challenge for me, but I was able to put something together to make it out to the show.
I paired a graphic tank with my boyfriend jeans, a thrifted blazer, my custom Melody Eshani earrings that I first wore HERE, and my Jeffery Campbell Lanas. My hair was a mess from working out all week so I put it in a side ponytail, and added some braiding hair to create a long, thick french braid. The best five minute style ever to camouflage an untamed mane.
I had a great time and really fell in love with several pieces from her line. You can check out some of her items HERE

"Basic"

My favorite way to dress up "basic" pieces in your wardrobe it by accessories and adding a pop of color or pattern. I am a huge fan of brooches so I decided to jazz up these simple high waisted black pants and button down with two of my favorite gold brooches.
For the pop of color I wore my multicolored Prabal Gurung heels, and since it's now spring I am giving my faithful black manicure a rest and pulling out some of my favorite hues. This "No Room for the Blues" by OPI is one of my absolute favorites.

I love being creative with my brooches by wearing them in non-traditional places on my clothing( as seen HERE and HERE) like on the waist of high waisted pants or skirt, on your sleeves, or on turbans or different hats.

I am sure like many of you, I LOVED the Prabal Gurung collection that he recently did for Target. Even though there were a couple pieces I wanted to add to my wardrobe, I opted on just getting the shoes because it seemed as though everybody in the blogsmosphere had the dress and shirt I wanted. It was complete over kill to me, so I quickly lost interest.
So how about you guys? How do you jazz up your basic looks?

"Highlighter"

Happy Tuesday, I hope you all had a great weekend. Once again had bipolar weather here in Atlanta, temperatures were barely in the 40's annnnd we had snow flurries...smh. Anyway I got a chance to wear this adorable dress last weekend. Nasty Gal had a phenomenal sale a few weeks back where several items were 50-60% off. If you follow me on Instagram you might remember when I posted the items that I scored.
I paired the dress with my color block Betsey Johnson pumps that I first wore HERE, a leather bomber jacket and some gold chains.
I love gold costume jewelry as you probably have already noticed. I think this Uzi chain is one of my best consignment finds which I first wore HERE. I LOVE it, it totally reminds me of the one Tupac used to wear...LOL!!!!!

"Bankhead"

Happy Tuesday, I hope everyone had a fantastic Super Bowl weekend. I am neither here or there about football, but I can say that I am still on a Beyonce Giselle Knowles- Carter high. I am SO excited that she is back, and even more excited that she will be going on tour again!!!! I missed the "Sasha Fierce" tour, but you can best believe that I will NOT miss this one.
Why I decided to make a pit stop in Bankhead, (aka the trap aka the hood)to take pictures I don't know..LOL. Anyways this day I was in a funky casual mood, and decided to pair my new Nike dunks with a faux leopard jacket that I have had forever.
This jacket is one of the best pieces I have ever found at TJ Maxx. I couldn't believe when I ran across it on the clearance rank for $25!!!
