"Back to Life"

My life has been the speed of  a Japanese Bullet Train for the past month. Between managing my two businesses, moving, unpacking, and entertaining my mom and niece who are visiting from Utah, I have very little time for anything, so I apologize for the hiatus.
I am still living out of a suitcase with random articles of clothing that I threw in, however I did unpack all my shoes..*wink*. While doing so I ran across these platforms that I bought last summer.
I actually wore these earrings here, but because my hair was down I wasn't able to really show them off.
I am in L-O-V-E with my name plate necklace that I had custom made from Bauble Bar. I have been wanting one of these necklaces since Sex in the City first started and Carrie had one...LOL.
I know this post is a little picture heavy, but as you see the art work is truly AMAZING!!!
I am a work in progress when it comes to accepting my big legs, so in honor of the "thunder thighs" comment someone texted me yesterday, I decided to leave the picture up to show that yes I love ALL of me: my small waist, chunky arms, soft skin, big forehead, curvy hips, and YES even my rock solid thunder thighs..**flips hair**

"Art"

Art is a word that is used to describe a diverse range of human activities and the products of those activities. With that being said I am constantly inspired from "art" not just in the form of fashion, but visual art, colors, and  environmental objects that God has created. The art that Melody Ehsani creates through her jewelry is awesome. I am so obsessed with my "Queen of the Jungle" earrings.
I'm a huge fan of graffiti and I am amazed at the talent these artists have. The ability to create such amazing pieces free style with no mistakes blows my mind.
I collect brooches and  think they are so classic. You can wear them with everything on any type of clothing (jackets, blouses, skirts, dresses) and even make them into necklaces.
Jeffery Campbell definitely creates awesome shoe art. I love all his shoes, but I don't wear these Lana platforms as much as I do my Lita's. They are so funky, but the platform is HUGE! This coupled with my size 10, makes me feel like Frankenstein so they just sit in my closet...LOL. I first broke them in here and here, but can count on one hand how many times I have wore these shoes.
