I know this picture!!!! That fabulous dress made an appearance at my wedding ;-) Riverwood Mansion is a beautiful place to snap a picture, and I'm thrilled your trip to Nashville made the blog. I am so proud of my friend and can't wait to see where your blog takes you. Your fashion backward friends (like me) and your soon to be followers are in for a total treat on where to find the goods.
Nice looks. I have to dress to impress during the week, and I'm usually complimented on my attire. However, my weekend wear usually consists of jeans, sweats, tees, and sneakers. After, dressing up all week, I just want to be comfortable on the weekends. I'm full-figured, and it's hard for me to find clothing that meets my taste and budget. What are some mainstays I can add to my weekend wardrobe to be comfortable and stylist?
@ Jonita staples that I wear and recommend on the weekend that are inexpensive, comfortable, and still stylish are black stretch pants, blazers, cardigans, and flowy skirts. Stretch pants are extremely cheap and can be found just about anywhere. I usually get mine at Target. I will wear them with an oversized blazer, cartigan, or even a flowy blouse. Add some accessories and a pair of flats or flat riding boots and your good to go. To find oversized blazers in different colors I would hit up your local Goodwill or thrift store. They will cost you between $3.00-5.00. You can find the cartigans and flowy shirts/skirts for really cheap at Forever 21, they have a plus size section called Faith 21. =0)
The houndstooth is my absolute favorite look thus far. I really like the way the shoes add a splash of color. Per your suggestion, I may browse some of the thrift stores in my area this weekend. However, I'm not sure if they'll have a big selection.
LOVE,LOVE,LOVE IT!!! I AM TRULY A FAN!!

ReplyDelete@Jonita Thanks! I think you will have luck at your thrift store. Blazers are a pretty much staples in all of them. Keep me posted!
