"Graphic Tank and Jeans"

Hey loves. I hope you all had a great weekend, mine definitely went by way too fast. On Thursday I went to a trunk show for Suakoke Betty. She is a local designer here who makes some beautiful mixed print fashion apparel. The show was hosted by Eboni from The Fashionista Next Door, and Trina from The Baby Shopaholic. Doing anything during the week is a real challenge for me, but I was able to put something together to make it out to the show.
I paired a graphic tank with my boyfriend jeans, a thrifted blazer, my custom Melody Eshani earrings that I first wore HERE, and my Jeffery Campbell Lanas. My hair was a mess from working out all week so I put it in a side ponytail, and added some braiding hair to create a long, thick french braid. The best five minute style ever to camouflage an untamed mane.
I had a great time and really fell in love with several pieces from her line. You can check out some of her items HERE

"Triple Denim"

Hey loves! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend. Mine went by entirely too fast. I know I have been M.I.A and I apologize. I have ( and still) am very overwhelmed with work, and since I am self employed and have employees, my business has unfortunately taken precedence over EVERYTHING in my life at this point. ..Ugh!!! This weekend was honestly the first time I put on "street clothes" in over a week! If I am not in scrubs, I am in gym clothes working my behind off trying to get to my summer goal ... ya'll pray for me for real....LOL  Anyways on Sunday after church I changed into this triple denim number. The look is inspired by one of my favorite bloggers Blair from Atlantic Pacific. She had an OOTD post last week that I thought was too cute. I usually wear denim on denim, but had never thought of doing Denim times three until I saw her post.
As you all already know, I am a brooch queen and throw them on everything I wear any chance I can. I found these two at the Goodwill and thought they were too cool. Especially the hand on the hip posing lady one, since that is my signature pose...LOL.

I kept the rest of my accessories simple, and decided to pull out my "Obama" hoops that I haven't wore in forever.

Happy Monday!
xoxo

"Lace, Pleats, & Bows"

Hey hey, I hope you all had a great weekend! I just got back from an over due trip home to visit my family. I had  such a wonderful weekend being home, seeing my family, going to my favorite spots, and hanging out with my niece. I was so busy running around that stopping to take pictures was the furthest thing from my mind, but I did have my mini me snap a couple of pictures of what I wore to church on Sunday.
I totally love how this outfit came together! I love the fact everything except for the shirt and shoes I either thrifted or got from a consignment shop.
Why my breasts look like a triple F in this picture I don't know....LOL...but I really wanted to show the detail of this amazing pearl and gold chain necklace that I found last year at a consignment shop I frequent when I come home.

If you follow me on IG you may remember when I posted a picture of this amazing clutch I lucked up on a couple weeks ago when I paid a visit to may favorite consignment shop that I frequent in Atlanta.
I wanna give a special thank you to my mini me for being my photographer, she always does such a great job! You can check out the pictures she took in another post I did HERE.
