" A Fashion Homage....Doris Megger"

Hey dolls! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Mine was restful, but I was able to finally wear these amazing pieces that were sent to me from Doris Megger to review. When they arrived in the mail I immediately fell in love with the colors, the print, and the quality of both the skirt and blouse. Doris Megger is a German fashion designer who has been creating beautiful pieces for curvy women since 2007. The luxury clothing line is mostly made of stretch silk, cashmere, or high-end jersey material. I was impressed with the different pieces, and beyond excited to know that a plus-sized couture line is now an option for us! Check out how I styled the beautiful pieces below....
I decided to separate the skirt and blouse in this look. . I wore the shirt by itself with jeans in a completely different look which I will share with you all later. On this day I paired a lace blouse, statement accessories, and my London Trash platforms.
I detached the silk bow from the blouse and added to the back of my bun as a cool hair accessory.
Look at the beautiful detail in the skirt. The fit was comfortable and true to size.

You can check out more of the her beautiful, timeless pieces HERE, and see their Atelier Couture preview HERE.

"Coral Flow"

One of my favorite summer colors next to mint green is coral. Also lately I've been really drawn to dipped hem shirts and dresses. I wear this shirt all the time and really can't believe this is the first OOTD post I have done in this shirt.
I was able to finally wear this adorable necklace that I won on a giveaway from Ari at Good Time Girl Accessories . I also won two adorable pair of earrings that I also can't wait to wear and share with you guys.
Even though I wasn't in a heel mood I decided to go ahead and pull out these coral Betsey Johnson pumps that I first wore here. These shoes are so comfortable that I went ahead and purchased the black ones that I wore here.
The expression on my face is definitely consistent with how I  have been feeling lately. So much on my mind and super stressed=/. I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend! Don't forget to send in your pictures for Fancy Fridays.

"Pastel Color Block"

I love color blocking and pastel colors, so when I ran across this shirt online it was a definite win.  I paired it with my oxfords and pastel jeans that I first wore here. Color blocking is by far one of my favorite trends that I will NEVER get tired of!

I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend. Mine is crazy busy as always, but even more hectic because I will be moving ***heavy sigh***.  Don't forget to send your pictures in for the "Fancy Friday"" posts that will begin on next week!

"Floral Flow"

Ok so as we all know from the 100 plus degree temperatures that summer is officially here. During the summer I pretty much stick to any dress that is short, light, or flowy. I bought this dress last summer from Asos and love everything about it.
On this day I threw it on to run errands. It was perfect for the 102 degree heat. I paired it with my red ruffled shoulder bag that I first wore here, and a pair of sandals that my brother bought me for Christmas several years ago. He did a great job picking out this timeless piece.
So what are you ladies wearing to stay cool in this summer heat?

"Sweetheart"

I lucked up on another amazing vintage dress a couple of weeks ago. It was definitely love at first sight when I seen this vintage sweetheart A-line dress.
One of my readers has a vintage clothing store here in Five Points called Recycled Couture and she always has some great pieces. Check out a couple other dresses I have found at her store here and here
I paired them with my Jeffery Campbell Cheetah print Foxy platforms and a vintage clutch that I found at a consignment store years ago.
I love the back of this dress. It came with two pink detachable bows, that I will wear next time.

"Spring/Summer Trend: Floral Print"

I have to be honest and say that I have never been a big fan of floral print on myself, but I adore the pattern when I see it on others. Floral print is a popular trend that is continuing into the summer.
Here are some adorable floral print pieces that I found recently that really caught my eye.
I love the cut of the back of this blouse
Great combination of floral and stripes.
This peplum dress in adorable! I convinced my roommate to buy it for a garden tea party bridal shower she had to attend last weekend and it was perfect!
These shorts are a perfect length for me. They can be paired with a solid blazer and platforms,  or a different floral pattern top, the options are endless.
As you know I LOVE Jeffery Campbell shoes. They speak for themselves....

The combination of the high-low and floral pattern is perfect.
So what do you think? Are you feeling the floral trend? Click on the links below to purchase the items I listed above.
