I am inspired by so many stylist, bloggers, and celebrities, but new to my list is Ms. Miley Cyrus. I could tell a transformation was beginning when she chopped off her hair and dyed it. She has definitely come into her own and totally laid Hannah Montana and that little girl from Disney image to rest. Check out some of my favorite looks below:
So what do you think are you feeling Miley's new look?

"Brooklyn"
I am back from NYC and although my body feels like I've been hit by a mack truck, my trip was nothing short of perfect. The highlight and reason for this trip was to see Jay perform at the new Barclays Center. There was no way I was going to miss an opportunity to see him perform in his house (literally) in his home city.
Inside the Barclay Center Jay added another 40/40 club. My girls and I had a few drinks and hung out at the bar for about an hour before the concert started. So back to my outfit.....It seems as though there was a consensus that my look was very Janet Jackson Rhythm Nation 1814...LOL!!! Two people at the 40/40 club said it and there were several comments on my Instagram and Facebook pictures that I posted... I thought it was too funny and very true. One of my good friends said that my BFF Sheila ( on the left) was channeling Trinity from the Matrix.....LOL!!!!!
Check out some of the pictures and video footage I shot from the concert below....

"Break the Rules"
The first rule of fashion is there are no rules and the second rule is to break the ones that do exist. With that being said I wore white jeans six days after Labor Day in honor of the "no white after Labor Day" rule.
There are limitless ways to wear white all season long. On yesterday I keep it simple by pairing it with a chambray shirt, my Jeffery Campbell Lanas and some serious neck candy. I am really getting my Mr. T on......LOL. A great way to wear white in the fall or winter is to incorporate a warm or neutral hues. I did so by adding my burgundy clutch.
So what's your position on the "no white after Labor Day" rule? Breaking it, or sticking to it?
Jeans: Michael Kors via TJ Maxx first seen here
Chambray Shirt: Target
Shoes: Jeffery Campbell seen here and here
Clutch: Elie Tahari seen here
Necklaces: Bauble Bar, H&M, Consignment
Ring:H&M

"Perfectly Said......"
All my fellow fashionistas know that every now and then you will run across that one shoe, or article of clothing that you feel was made just for you. Well, when I stumbled upon this graphic T it was definitely one of those moments.
I actually found this shirt about three years ago at a kiosk in the mall. I paired it with my ripped jeans which I recently found at Forever 21 and the ombre' blazer that goes with my suit that I wore here.
I have to admit that I am a little over the neon trend and can only take it in small doses, but I couldn't pass by these comfy BCBG kitten heel pumps that I found at TJ Maxx recently.
Love this four finger "Black Girls Rock" ring that I first wore here
How do you ladies feel about the neon trend? Are you over it, or still loving it?
